I believe that raising the bar is absolutely crucial to ones own success in life. We too often become "satisfied" with our lives whatever it may be. Don't get me wrong, it is just as important to give credit to your achievements, but I believe that for one to truly excel in life, one must continuously strive to better themselves. We too often fence ourselves in our comfort bubble, doing the things that we are either good at or comfortable with. Even our thoughts become fenced in. I will bet that most people think the same thoughts everyday. Its like a radio repeating the same show over and over everyday, and I will bet again that the thoughts are more on the negative side!So how are we ever going to achieve our goals when we are so reluctant to do anything outside of our fences both mentally and physically! This is where it becomes interesting. You will need perserverence and powerful unwavering character and determination. We are creatures of habit and it takes immense strength to break a habit. We become subconsciously attached to our habits. They become your "friends". Some of these "friends" are positive to you and your development and most are truly destructive. We must recognise which are positive and which are negative and then brutally strike out the latter! Weed the garden of our minds. Till the soil of our subconscious, and when the time is right plant the seeds of positive, powerful thoughts and eventually we will reap the rewards. This is by no means easy! Never give up and remember to raise the bar! J

  1. So true m friend... I think it critical for the world to be in Harmony (very much as you have to be aware when you're sining in Harmony :-) to be aware of thoise around them and their influence on one another and themselves, each act you do and word you say can and will effect those around you too.

  2. what is success?this is a great opinion but there is some real meat missing here.habit is our practice,is our conditioning.is it 'successful' to support an exploitative tv station who's 'success' is made by "raising the bar" in conditioning people to watch tv (the single biggest contributor to a sick, conditioned and controlled society),and waste money voting in a disgraceful voting system where those with the funds can vote as many times as they want?im not bashing, but it is worht thinking about.and in these lean times??i'm not sure-but what I can say is that YOU CAN SING dude.also you are hot!and i thnk you are a nice guy.my boyfriend hates you cause i love you,ha ha.

these sorts of forums are no fun when they are all just kiss-your-ass-bumpf-and-bull.dont worry you have my vote(ill even vote twice, but morals dictate no more cause mnets view of success does not mesh with my own.i'd like to know your thoughts and how you marry them with your tree thingy.but really,i dont know you but id guess that it eats you, else you are for shitt.i might even say that deep down you will one day know that you were more successful before this show, and that associating yourself with mnet has actually diluted things?but dont worry again-the dumbies out there wont think like this and its them who'll vote.good luck jason,i support you, your family,&your confusion, but realy you belong on the road-and i thnk thats where youwill be when you clear things up.iwas at a gig of yours once-i thought you were great, you are.you are bigger than fame.come on,dont let those spikey haird clones change you.dont let them convince you to become a sucker to their definition of success look at the price of their 'progres'-would you need to plant and protect trees if les people believed in that success.what does scot say to this?i have read your cousines online book-found it through your facebook group, have you?jacqueline of the lake

  3. Ok, some good points fat jacky, but how can you say "more successful before this show" - what qualifies you to make judgement? In your words, there is some real "meat missing here". I can appreciate your authentic expression, but I dont think you really get it. This is about trees and earth and our role in it - but from an integral perspective. This is fun and the man is living a moment of life that few are blessed and talented enough to make good on. Confusion? I'd like to challenge you to a debate - let's discover your own confusion. Sounds to me like you are one little step away from reaching an integral stage of psychological development... when you do, you will look back and see where we are coming from. Thanks for the comment. Thanks for reading my book. But dont talk shite about my cuz before you know the whole story - it smacks of ignorant self-righteousness.

  4. Jason, I loved reading your thoughts on this subject! I often ask people "when was the last time you did something for the first time?" - It's a great line!
Thanks for all that you are pouring into our lives,
    Gerri
